A Night of Encouragement by the Community of Vancouver


More than 200 people, including former Oregon Senator Lim Yong-keun and Korean chairman Kang Dae-ho, attended the event sponsored by the Korean community in Vancouver, Washington on Tuesday.

The event, which was started by Shin Tae-hwa, the vice chairman of the association, and the society of Miller Lee Heung-bok, the president of the association, was the opening declaration of the event committee, followed by the pledge of the people, and the leader of the Korean people.

Han Kyung-soo, chairman of the Korean delegation, said in his welcoming speech, " We have continued to support each other with a lot of enthusiasm, dedication, service and pride as Koreans. "

Mayor McHenry-Niga said through his thoughts that he was very happy to attend the night sponsored by the Community of Vancouver.
We are grateful for the fact that there is a very active and welcoming community in Vancouver, he said.
Former Senator Lim Yong-keun said, The Vancouver Community Association has invited veterans of the Korean War and mainstream social politicians to hold events frequently.
I am doing well with Americans, expressing my gratitude for Han Kyung-soo's leadership, and I hope that the state and Vancouver of Oregon will be united and hold events together in the future.
In the second part, James Min-seung won the first prize by winning the first prize in the first round of Korean traditional music.
The donation will be used for events planned by the Korean community such as support of Korean schools and street events.

At the event were former chairman of the Korea Federation of Representatives Lee Sang-kyu from Tacoma, former chairman of the Association of Korean Studies, general representative of the Democratic United Party of Korea Lee Jung-ju, former member of the Jeolla provinces, and former chairman of the South Korean American, Kang Yong-keon from Oregon.
